Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Mortgage Loan Processor to join a growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the loan application process from submission to approval, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies. You will play a crucial role in facilitating a smooth and efficient mortgage process for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Carefully review and assess mortgage loan applications to ensure they are complete, accurate, and comply with all regulatory requirements.
• Request and collect all necessary documentation from applicants, including income, credit, and asset information, and maintain organized loan files.
• Verify the accuracy and authenticity of all information provided by applicants, including income, employment, credit history, and property details.
• Maintain regular communication with loan officers, underwriters, and applicants to provide updates on the status of applications and address any outstanding issues or requirements.
• Ensure that all loan files are compliant with federal and state regulations, as well as company policies and guidelines.
• Accurately input loan data into the company's loan origination system and other relevant software platforms.
• Prioritize and manage a pipeline of loans to meet closing deadlines and ensure that loans progress through the processing stages efficiently.
• Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues that may arise during the loan processing, working closely with the loan officer, underwriter, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus).
• Previous experience as a Mortgage Loan Processor or a similar role in the mortgage lending industry.
• Previous experience with Residential Mortgage Loans for Non-Residents.
• Strong understanding of mortgage loan products, industry regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in using mortgage loan origination software and other relevant tools.
