Job summary

One Nevada Credit Union is seeking a detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Processor to support the processing of first mortgage loan applications in Las Vegas. You will gather, review, and organize documentation to ensure compliance and prepare complete loan files for underwriting review.

The role involves assembling documentation per FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC requirements, communicating with applicants and partners, and ordering appraisals and reports to keep files ready for underwriting submission.

Qualifications

• Must have strong knowledge of FHA/VA/FNMA/FHLMC underwriting guidelines.
• Experience using mortgage processing software and standard office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet processing timelines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in government mortgage loan processing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and organize documentation in compliance with FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC requirements.

• Review loan files to ensure all documentation satisfies underwriting and AUS stipulations.
• Order appraisals, credit reports, title work, and other required documentation.
• Enter and maintain accurate loan information within mortgage processing systems.
• Prepare files for underwriting submission and follow up on approved and declined loan applications.
• Ensure loan files meet investor and regulatory guidelines while maintaining established processing timelines.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and member-focused Mortgage Loan Processor to support the processing of first mortgage loan applications. In this role, you’ll be responsible for gathering, reviewing, and organizing documentation, ensuring compliance and preparing complete loan files for underwriting review.

The Work You’ll Be Performing:

• Assemble and organize documentation in compliance with FHA, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC requirements
• Communicate with applicants, loan officers, underwriters, and vendors to obtain and verify required documentation
• Review loan files to ensure all documentation satisfies underwriting and AUS stipulations

High School Diploma or GED required

Two years of government of mortgage loan processing experience preferred
