Job summary

First Flight Federal Credit Union in Greenville, NC is seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Originator to build and manage a strong mortgage pipeline while serving members through the home financing process.

You will develop relationships with Realtors, lenders, and referral sources, and guide members from application to closing, delivering superior member service in a collaborative lending team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding production goals.
• Established network of referral partners.
• Strong knowledge of conventional mortgage products and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, organization, and relationship management skills.
• A proactive approach to business development and a commitment to exceptional member service.
• The ability to manage other priorities while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop new mortgage business through community involvement, networking, referrals, and relationships.
• Build and maintain productive partnerships with Realtors, builders, financial professionals, and other referral sources.
• Guide members through the mortgage process from application through closing.
• Recommend loan solutions that align with members' financial goals.
• Originate mortgage and real estate secured loans in accordance with First Flight policies and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure loan files are accurate, complete, and compliant.
• Partner with processors, underwriters, and other internal teams to provide a seamless lending experience.
• Deliver responsive, professional service that earns trust and repeat business.
