Job summary

Cathay Bank is seeking an experienced mortgage sales professional for an outside sales role in residential lending in Plano, TX. You will visit customers at their homes or offices, build relationships, and promote mortgage solutions while coordinating with the team to process applications.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in bank residential lending sales, a may hold NMLS, and strong customer-service skills with bilingual abilities as a plus.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree preferred.
• 5-7 years of bank residential lending sales experience.
• Active NMLS registration or eligibility within 90 days.
• Strong written and verbal communication; bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with real estate professionals to solicit new mortgage business.
• Attend community events and seminars to promote mortgage products.
• Guide applicants through the mortgage process from application to closing.
• Coordinate with branches, underwriters, and closing agents to ensure smooth processing.
• Maintain mortgage pipeline to meet origination goals.
