Fifth Third Bank in Raleigh seeks a Mortgage Loan Originator to originate residential 1st mortgage loans for outside referrals. You will manage the loan from application to closing and work to meet sales and cross-sell objectives.

Role requires knowledge of mortgage processing, strong customer service, and an established local book of business with a minimum two years in mortgage lending. Raleigh-based position with incentive-based compensation.

Qualifikationen

• Two years of mortgage sales lending experience or related role.
• Knowledge of conventional/government lending guidelines and processing.
• Familiarity with Fannie Mae form 1003 and mortgage closing procedures.

Aufgaben

• Develop referral contacts (realtors, builders, professional and personal contacts).
• Maintain knowledge of policies, procedures, and available loan products.
• Follow defined protocol for escalation exceptions and communicate updates.
• Take applicant applications by completing Form 1003 on the laptop.
• Use the laptop for daily rates, credit reports, and loan transmission.
• Collect documentation and deliver packages within management time frames.
• Manage pipeline from origination to closing and prepare reports.
