Job summary

U.S. Bank in Pasco, WA is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to originate loans in a non-bank territory, take applications, and submit for processing and underwriting. You will spend significant time away from bank locations to solicit loan sales and build a referral network.

The role requires NMLS registration, a high school diploma, and 2+ years of mortgage, sales, or real estate experience, with strong communication and sales skills to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• NMLS registration required under S.A.F.E. Act and Regulation Z
• Two or more years of Mortgage, Sales, or Real Estate experience
• Excellent communication skills and sales aptitude

Responsibilities

• Originate mortgage loans in an assigned non-bank territory
• Take applications and conduct preliminary underwriting reviews
• Submit loan applications to processing and underwriting for approval
• Travel away from U.S. Bank locations (at least 50% of time) to solicit loan sales and build referral base
