Job summary

KBHS Home Loans is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator in the Tucson area to guide new KB Home buyers through the loan process, from pre-qualification to closing, while partnering with the sales team in builder communities for new construction projects.

The role requires NMLS and 2+ years of MLO experience, with knowledge of Conventional/FHA/VA loans and TRID compliance. Strong communication and multitasking are essential for success in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• NMLS number required with at least two years of Mortgage Loan Originator experience.
• Conventional, FHA, and VA loan knowledge; TRID compliance experience preferred.
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Spend time in builder communities to earn business by contacting customers.
• Provide weekend support in builder communities and at grand openings.
• Present loan products at Sales Meetings and with Sales staff.
• Meet weekly with Branch Manager to review goals vs results.
• Market KBHS products to potential business sources for loan origination.
• Represent KBHS professionally at industry events.
• Manage daily pipeline from pre-qualification to funding.
• Coordinate with Fulfillment Center on loan progress.
