Job summary

The Money Store in New York is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to grow the mortgage portfolio by developing business contacts and guiding applicants through the full loan cycle. You will process loans, close them, and maintain productive relationships with borrowers and partners.

Ideal candidates will have NMLS licensure, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of LOS and CRM systems to ensure a smooth, compliant experience for every customer.

• Has an NMLS license and can communicate via phone, in person and email.

• Familiar with LOS, CRM and credit acquisition systems.

Responsibilities

• Conducts business in a professional and legal manner.
• Serves as the point of contact for each loan and maintains borrower relationships.
• Interviews applicants to determine financial eligibility for loans.
• Structures and closes loans effectively and legally.
• Services active loans efficiently, completely and correctly.
• Maintains an exceptional customer experience and counsels on repayment policies.
• Keeps borrowers informed on status changes.
• Knows loan processes and informs borrowers of required information.
• Uses LOS, CRM and credit systems efficiently.
• Maintains open communication with coworkers and corporate.
