Job summary

A regional financial services provider is seeking a full-time Mortgage Loan Originator at its Scottsdale location. The ideal candidate must have prior loan origination experience and will manage all loan applications while originating new loans through various channels. • Assist in obtaining additional data or information when requested by processors.
• Cross-sell all bank products and services.

Description: This position will office out of our Scottsdale, AZ location. MUST HAVE Prior Loan Origination Experience. Excellent Benefits, Holiday Pay, Incentive Pay, and company perks! Sunflower Bank, N.A. is looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual to fill the position of full-time Mortgage Loan Originator at our Scottsdale, AZ location. This is a fully commissioned position with a draw. Draws are minimum wage rates based on work location. Details of the commission plan will be presented at time of offer.

Responsibilities

• Develop, lead and originate mortgage loans through branches, realtors and builders.
• Interview mortgage loan applicants.
• Take loan applications from customers.
• Send applicant’s file to processors in the centralized loan support area.
• Respond to referrals from branch personnel and others.
• Assist in obtaining additional data or information when requested by processors.
• Cross-sell all bank products and services.

Education / Experience Preferred

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience; MBA or Master’s Degree preferred.
• 2+ years of lending experience preferred.
• Creativity, flexibility, integrity, and a commitment to customer support are essential.
• Must be able to work autonomously exercising considerable independent judgment.
• Must be able to maintain composure in stressful situations.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.
