Job summary

Arizona Central Credit Union is seeking a positive, ambitious Mortgage Loan Originator to join our Mortgage Lending team in Phoenix. You will work with members to provide quality mortgage products to meet their financing needs.

This role requires 5+ years origination experience, the ability to manage tight deadlines, and a commitment to excellent member service. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm, with occasional evenings or weekends for meetings with realtors.

• 5+ years of mortgage origination experience.

Responsibilities

• Consult with members regarding mortgage products and applications.
• Originate and submit complete and compliant mortgage loan applications.
• Maintain a superior knowledge of ACCU mortgage products.
• Develop professional relationships to establish a referral base for mortgage business.
• Meet origination goals and respond to inquiries within established timeframes.

Role:

Arizona Central Credit Union isseekinga positive, ambitious, team-orientedindividual to join our Mortgage Lending team.TheMortgage Loan Originator will work with members to provide quality mortgage products to meet their needs.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Consult with members and potential membersregardingmortgage products and applications.
• Identifymember financial needs and offer a solution by cross-selling mortgage products and services that will meet those needs.
• Originate andsubmitcomplete and compliant mortgage loan applications for processing.
• Provide a mortgage products point-of-contact role for a network of branches.
• Maintain a superior working knowledge of all ACCU first mortgage and home equity mortgage products.
• Work independently and respond to inquiries within establishedtimeframes.
• Provide assistanceand follow-up support for all mortgage applications until funded.
• Initiate and develop professional relationships toestablisha referral base to generateadditionalfirst mortgage business.
• Meet established mortgage origination goals includinginitiatingleads and closing referrals at an acceptable rate.
• Must be able to manage very tight deadlineson a daily basiswhile maintaining quality work.
• Attend training/meetings/seminars to stay updated with current mortgage and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain companyvehicleand documentaccuratemileage usage when usingvehiclefor approvedtravel.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor in all business settings.

• Monday- Friday:9:00am - 5:30pm
• Occasional evenings and weekends may be required to accommodate meetings or calls with realtors.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Experience: 5 or more years of origination experience.

Compensation:

• Base pay pluscommission.
