Position Overview

Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Originator for a growing mortgage lender. This full-time, commission-based role is ideal for a sales-driven professional focused on building referral-based loan volume across the Chicago region.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Development: Generate loan volume via referral relationships with realtors, brokers, financial advisors, and other industry partners. Attend events, seminars, and networking opportunities to drive leads.
• Loan Origination: Interview and pre-qualify borrowers, educate them on loan options, collect documentation, and provide required disclosures.
• Processing & Closing: Coordinate with borrowers and partners through closing, order legal/title documents, review disclosures, and ensure regulatory compliance.
