Job summary

A regional financial institution in Unity Township is seeking a detail-oriented Loan Processor. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate loan data entry, generating disclosures, and communicating with the sales team. Excellent communication skills are required, and candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience in residential mortgages is a plus. This is an on-site position with a dynamic work environment.

Essential Functions

• Ensure accurate, complete and timely loan data is being entered into loan processing system
• Generate initial disclosures on all new loan applications in a timely and compliant manner
• Order services that include appraisals, title, subordination agreements, employment verifications, payoffs, etc.
• Communicate with mortgage sales and operations to maintain a high level of customer service
• Assist processing team members as needed

Additional Functions

• Assist department with any other assigned duties

Education and Experience

• Previous residential mortgage experience is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
