Job summary

Royal Credit Union in Whitehall, Wisconsin is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer to guide Members through the mortgage process, build relationships with Realtors and builders, and help families find the right lending solutions.

You’ll originate loans including lot, construction, and bridge loans, meet production targets, and represent the credit union in the community. The role offers a rewarding income with a forgivable draw and commission based on production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and mortgage lending experience.
• Two years of mortgage loan origination experience using technology and digital loan documentation.
• NMLS Certification is required.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, develop and convert sales opportunities while building relationships.

Responsibilities

• Originate residential mortgage loans including lot, construction, and bridge loans.
• Conduct initial pre-qualification interviews and prepare complete loan packages.
• Develop strong partnerships with Realtors, builders, and community partners.
• Meet scheduling and documentation targets as directed by regional leadership.
• Represent Royal Credit Union in the community and outside office.
