Job summary

Lake Area Mortgage, a Division of Royal Credit Union, seeks an experienced Mortgage Loan Officer to originate loans and promote related products through real estate channels and personal networks. You will drive growth by building a strong referral base while leveraging a broad product suite.

The role emphasizes ownership of the loan lifecycle, from application to closing, with a focus on customer service, regulatory compliance, and transparent communication with Members.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in Mortgage Loan Origination utilizing technology to originate loans and using digital documentation.
• Ability to generate and pursue leads for all Lake Area Mortgage products and services.
• Communicate and live Royal Credit Union's core purpose and values.

Responsibilities

• Originate mortgage loans and promote related products and programs to Members and real estate professionals.
• Develop and maintain networks to grow a personal mortgage loan portfolio.
• Leverage our products and services to help Members reach homeownership goals.

As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you will be responsible for originating mortgage loans and promoting related products and programs within the real estate profession and through your personal and professional networks.

Required Education/Experience/Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years’ experience working in Mortgage Loan Origination utilizing technology to originate the loans and using digital documentation
• Strong desire to build their own portfolio by generating and pursuing leads for all of Lake Area Mortgage products and services.
• Communicate and live RCU's core purpose and values, these define and drive our organizational culture.
