Wasatch Peaks Credit Union is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer to join our mortgage team in Weber County, Utah. You will review loan documents, analyze requests, and make credit decisions in line with policy, while building relationships with members and real estate partners.

This full-time role offers a base of $19.50 per hour plus commissions; typical annual earnings exceed $46,000, with benefits including health insurance, a 401(k), PTO, paid medical leave, and a supportive workplace.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of similar or related experience.
• Preferred: Mortgage Loan Originator License.

Responsabilités

• Review and evaluate mortgage loan documents to determine if buyer, property, and loan conditions meet bank and regulatory standards.
• Approve or reject loan application, or request additional information.
• Establish terms and conditions of an approved loan and review with members.
• Market the Credit Union's mortgage lending program to real estate professionals and communities, and assist with social media/promos.
• Cross-Sell Credit Union Services to benefit the member.
• Assemble documents in loan files and document approvals/denials.
• Participate in Continuing Education and webinars.
• Participate in community involvement with Wasatch Peaks.

The Role

In this role, you will be a critical part of the Mortgage team. You will assist members with their mortgage lending needs, analyze loan requests, and make credit decisions based on mortgage lending policy.

• Assemble documents in loan file, including acceptance or denial.
• Participate in Continuing Education classes and online webinars.
• Participate in community involvement with Wasatch Peaks.

Schedule

This Full-Time position offers 40 hours per week, with hours normally between 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday; events can extend as early as 7:00am and as late as 7:00pm.
