Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Work directly with real estate agents to generate and close mortgage loans.
• Utilize leads from partner companies to close additional loans.
• Maintain a high-quality loan file and close loans efficiently.
• Collaborate with the mortgage and real estate management teams to support client success.
• Follow company policies and procedures for loan processing.

Qualifications and Skills

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass national licensing exam (or hold current license).
• Current NMLS license in at least one of: VA, MD, WV, DE, PA, FL, TX.
• Two or more years as a Loan Officer preferred.
• General financial industry experience.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Strong computer skills and 1-2 years experience in mortgage software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong advisory and customer-service abilities, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent analytical capabilities.
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic.
• General office skills – answer calls, coordinate messages, perform light bookkeeping.
• Ability to study material independently and adapt to new processes quickly.
• Must be able to drive a motor vehicle legally.
• Must be able to build relationships with real estate professionals.
• Positive and professional attitude; represent the company positively.
• Follow posted work rules and procedures.

Job Details
