Job summary

NVR Mortgage is seeking a Loan Officer to work on-site with homebuyers in the Roanoke area. You will guide applicants from loan application through approval and settlement, prequalify buyers, review financing options, and assist in credit repair as needed, while serving as the primary contact with NVR Mortgage throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Must meet National and State licensing requirements.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in conventional and government loans.
• Strong knowledge of FNMA, FHA, and State housing loans.
• Strong selling, exemplary customer service, and vocational skills.
• Four-year degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Originate high quality loan applications and submit to the processing department along with all supporting documentation.
• Guide buyers through the loan process from application to settlement and prequalify prospective borrowers.
• Maintain weekly contact with borrowers, brokers, NVR Mortgage staff, and builder partners to answer questions and share loan status.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with the NVR Homebuilding Sales team to support monthly sales goals.
• Educate sales team members on industry changes and new product offerings.
• Provide excellent service to the builder and homebuyer while meeting yearly performance goals.
