Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year mortgage lending experience with proven mortgage production.
• External business development via referrals (realtors, builders, financial planners) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes mortgage applications for submission to loan processing and underwriting.
• Evaluates loan requests, analyzes financial data, and determines collateral/credit history.
• Maintains contact with loan customers and communicates progress toward closing.
• Structures loans to comply with lending practices and regulations.
• Develops marketing plans and frequency of contact with potential customers.
• Answers calls and walks-in customers about loan products and qualifications.
• Makes sales calls to develop new business or retain existing business.
• Cross-sells other bank products and services.
• Reads surveys/appraisals and addresses encroachments/violations.
• Participates in networking to promote loan products.
