Job summary

Peoples Bank is seeking a Mortgage Banker in Northwest Indiana to originate high quality residential real estate loans and cross-sell bank products to customers and the community. The role emphasizes in-house processing and underwriting, fast turnaround times, and partnerships with local agencies to support homebuyer assistance programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years mortgage lending experience.
• Mortgage experience working in Northwest Indiana.

• In-house processing and underwriting
• Underwriting turn time in 48 hours or less

• Partnerships with multiple local agencies providing homebuyer assistance

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

• Minimum three years mortgage lending experience
• Mortgage experience working in Northwest Indiana
