Job summary

SWBC Mortgage Corporation is seeking a detail‑oriented coordinator to support Loan Officers in processing mortgage applications, tracking files, and ensuring document accuracy through closing. You will liaise with borrowers, builders, and originators to maintain a smooth workflow.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years coordinating and processing mortgage loans with strong customer service
• State and National licenses (NMLS and SAFE Act compliant)
• Working knowledge of mortgage loans and procedures
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to type at least 60 WPM
• Ability to sit for long periods and lift 10-20 lbs

Responsibilities

• Organizes and tracks all active loans as directed by the Loan Officer
• Monitors file status and ensures accurate processing through closing
• Meets with clients to collect borrower applications and pre-qualify
• Completes and reviews forms with borrowers and submits to underwriting
• Maintains Loan Officer Database and coordinates submissions to processing and closing
• Assists with pricing and rate locks
• Updates pipeline status for Loan Officer, borrowers and builders
