Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare closing document packages to meet underwriting, investor and compliance requirements.

• Maintain timely and effective communication with all parties involved in the transaction.
• Coordinate timing of closing with banker to meet contract dates and/or lock exp.
• Verify that all checks and general ledger entries are set up correctly for accurate records.
• Prioritize workload to maximize efficiency and production.
• Assist with other duties as needed.

About this position

Description: The Mortgage Loan Closer performs full-service mortgage loan closing duties.

• Accurately prepare closing document packages to meet all underwriting, investor and compliance requirements.
• Ensure all title objections are addressed and will be satisfied prior to or at closing.
• Timely and effective communication with all parties involved in the transaction.
• Coordinate timing of closing with banker, ensure we meet contract dates and/or lock exp.
• Verify that all check and general ledger entries are set up correctly in to ensure accurate accounting records
• Prioritize workload to maximize efficiency and production.
• Assist with other duties as needed.

Requirements:

Required Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Required work experience: Two years of mortgage related experience working with processing purchase or refinance applications, clearing title, generating closing disclosures and closing documents.

Technology Skills: Word, Excel, DU, DO, LP, origination software, basic internet skills
