Job summary

Capital Bank N.A. is seeking a Loan Officer Assistant to support Mortgage Loan Officers and processors in managing pipelines, coordinating loan packages, and communicating with borrowers.

The role focuses on ensuring complete documentation, accurate disclosures, and strong customer service in a fast-paced mortgage environment. The LOA collaborates on marketing efforts, conducts collateral creation, and liaises with compliance.

Qualifications

• Recent experience in the mortgage industry as an assistant, loan processor or loan officer is required.
• Knowledge of lending terminology and the ability to speak with borrowers regarding lending requirements is required.
• Proven customer service ability is required.

Responsibilities

• Supports the MLO in production and marketing efforts.
• Assists the MLO in co-managing the pipeline for current closings.
• Communicates with new potential customers and assists customers with the application process.
• Reviews income and asset documentation to ensure data matches Encompass.
• Discloses loan accurately and sends application package for signature.
• Follow up with borrowers to obtain signed docs and disclosures.
• Review and verify borrower documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Act as liaison between borrower and processor to ensure all items are received.
