City National Bank is seeking a Business Systems Analyst II to own the residential lending systems from requirements through testing and training. You will coordinate with lines of business, gather requirements, and prepare workflows to ensure successful implementation and post-implementation support.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance and collaboration with Credit Administration, Legal, and Product Management. Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years experience as business analyst or operations analyst supporting loan origination systems.
• Minimum 4 years experience hands-on system design, testing, and production support including writing business requirements and conducting user acceptance testing.
• Minimum 4 years experience in financial industry with focus on consumer and mortgage lending.

Responsibilities

• Determine business line system needs and objectives and consult with business line regarding problems with current applications or systems, enhancements, or new functionality.
• Prepare business and system requirements for maintenance/enhancements and present recommendations to division management.
• Gather information and write business/system requirements, build workflows, develop and code documents and support US Mortgage Banking division for troubleshooting.
• Conduct all user and quality assurance testing on systems and conduct maintenance testing; develop test scripts and interact with vendors to implement enhancements.
• Collaborate with external departments to create and implement documents, products and services related to the system application.
• Provide system application support to end users and prepare documentation on system enhancements and communicate changes to training.
