Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in Business/Finance preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending, underwriting, processing, or real estate lending operations.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a financial institution preferred.
• Experience with secondary market mortgage lending and servicing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the mortgage department to ensure efficient loan processing and underwriting.
• Provide direct leadership to mortgage lending staff and oversee workflow, productivity, and quality standards.
• Manage origination, underwriting, approval, closing, and servicing oversight of residential mortgage loans.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, investor requirements, and applicable laws.
• Collaborate with members, vendors, title companies, and real estate professionals to facilitate timely, compliant lending services.
