Job summary

Rockland Trust is seeking a detail‑oriented Loan Booking & Funding Specialist II to join our Operations team in Lowell, MA. You will book and fund Residential Mortgage, Home Equity, Consumer Loans, and Lines of Credit within Horizon and support internal partners with accuracy and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes funding accuracy, knowledge of loan products, and collaboration with lending teams. Prior experience with Horizon/Encompass and SharePoint is preferred, with a strong customer

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in loan operations, loan administration, or a comparable financial services environment.
• Knowledge of the Horizon Loan System or a similar core loan processing system is required.
• Knowledge of consumer lending products, loan documentation, and loan servicing processes.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment while meeting critical deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review and process daily residential mortgage loan funding transactions in accordance with established procedures.
• Board Consumer, Home Equity, and Mortgage loan files into Horizon.
• Post loan disbursements and advance transactions within Horizon.
• Maintain loan product boarding procedures and ensure compliance with bank policies and applicable regulations.
• Provide training and serve as SME for Consumer, Home Equity, and Business Banking loan products.
