Job summary

Community First Credit Union is seeking a Mortgage Disclosure Desk Specialist to support the mortgage team in maintaining compliance and processing changes to mortgage files. This role requires strong attention to detail and knowledge of mortgage regulations, within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include reviewing loan applications, providing initial disclosures to members, assessing changes, and offering timely recommendations.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma and three to five years’ experience in mortgage processing or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work under time restraints

Responsibilities

• Review the loan application for accuracy and completeness
• Assist in providing initial mortgage disclosures to our members
• Review mortgage loan application changes, and determine what action is needed
• Provide timely recommendations and service to our mortgage team
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of mortgage regulations
