Job summary

CEN in Bedford, TX is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator who builds relationships with Realtors, builders, and developers to solicit residential mortgages and referrals. You will interview loan applicants, analyze financial data to determine creditworthiness, and present loan options in a clear, compliant manner.

You will work with the branch to promote home loan products, collect documentation, and ensure timely processing while delivering excellent customer service and adhering to BSA/AML

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of fields such as accounting, marketing, finance, etc.
• Equivalent to a four year college degree, plus related experience and/or training, and management experience.

Responsibilities

• Interview loan applicants and determine creditworthiness.
• Develop referral contacts with Realtors, builders, and professionals.
• Take borrower applications and collect appropriate documentation.
• Promote home loan products with assigned branch offices.
• Maintain knowledge of processing procedures and underwriting guidelines.
• Attend lending meetings and CRA-related trainings as required.
