Job summary

SWBC Mortgage Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented professional to interpret and track variable compensation agreements, executing calculations and payments across multiple pay cycles. The role includes creating and posting all related journal entries and performing reconciliations to ensure GAAP-compliant payroll transactions.

The candidate will prepare accruals, reconcile payables, and generate production reports for mortgage employees, supporting the accounting team and vendor setup as

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of accounting reconciliation, journal entry prep, commissions or related experience required.
• Experience with AMB preferred.
• Knowledge of Workday.
• GAAP knowledge required.
• MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Access) proficiency.
• Excellent organization, interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and track all variable compensation agreements and calculate payments for variable compensation employees on a bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Create and post variable compensation journal entries.
• Prepare reconciliations of commission and payroll reports and reconcile to the general ledger.
• Post month-end accruals for commissions, bonuses and overrides for all mortgage branches.
• Reconcile commission payables and investigate discrepancies.
