Job summary

UFCU Financial Services, LLC is seeking a Mortgage & Commercial Loan Collector in Austin, TX to manage delinquent real estate and commercial loan accounts, perform loss mitigation analysis, and coordinate foreclosure and REO activities. The role supports UFCU’s collections management and lending teams with timely reporting and compliant servicing actions.

The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, empathetic, and detail-oriented, balancing member support with prudent credit union risk

Qualifications

Knowledge of real estate loan servicing, commercial loan collections, delinquency management, and REO disposition.
Experience with mortgage servicing requirements, loss mitigation procedures, and fair lending considerations.
Ability to balance member support with prudent risk management and policy compliance.

Responsibilities

Prepare and distribute delinquency reporting for management review.
Provide data and insights to support loan loss reserve provisioning.
Conduct outreach to past-due members with professionalism and empathy.
Document borrower communications and servicing decisions clearly and consistently.
Coordinate foreclosure and REO disposition activities with internal and external partners.
