Pioneer Bank is hiring a Mortgage Banker to support the St. Peter Branch. You will build relationships, assess customers’ home financing needs, and present a variety of mortgage products. You’ll guide clients through the application process with integrity and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of mortgage lending experience.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university preferred.
• Proven track record of growing a mortgage portfolio.
• Strong communications and relationship-building skills.
• Commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience from application through closing.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships by delivering exceptional service.
• Meet with prospective and existing customers to discuss financial goals and mortgage solutions.
• Explain a wide range of mortgage products (conventional, FHA, VA, construction, adjustable-rate).
• Guide customers through the mortgage application process and assist with documentation.
• Review loan applications for completeness and accuracy; gather additional information as needed.
• Analyze credit reports and financials to evaluate loan eligibility and make informed lending decisions.
• Develop and maintain a referral network with real estate professionals and community partners.
• Represent Pioneer Bank in the community and grow the mortgage portfolio.

As a Mortgage Banker, you'll play a meaningful role in helping individuals and families achieve their homeownership goals. Whether customers are buying, building, refinancing, or investing in a home, you'll guide them through the mortgage process with expertise, integrity, and exceptional service. As part of our experienced Mortgage team, you'll offer customized lending solutions while creating an outstanding customer experience every step of the way.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships by delivering exceptional service and creating value in every interaction.
• Meet with prospective and existing customers to understand their financial goals and recommend mortgage solutions that best fit their needs.
• Present and explain a wide range of mortgage products, including conventional, FHA, VA, construction, adjustable-rate, portfolio, and secondary market loans.
• Guide customers through the mortgage application process, ensuring they understand requirements and assisting with the completion of necessary documentation.
• Review loan applications for completeness and accuracy and gather additional information when needed.
• Analyze credit reports, financial information, and supporting documentation to evaluate loan eligibility.
• Make informed lending decisions in accordance with bank policies, regulatory requirements, and underwriting guidelines.
• Develop and maintain a strong referral network with real estate professionals, builders, attorneys, CPAs, and other community business partners.
• Actively represent Pioneer Bank within the community and identify opportunities to grow the bank's mortgage portfolio.

Wage Range: $40,000 - $80,000 based on qualifications
