Job summary

Rothesay, a leading UK pensions insurer with North America operations in NYC, seeks a Mortgage Analyst to join the US residential mortgage team. You will perform due diligence on residential loan data, validate collateral features, and build cash-flow models for RMBS structures.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years in residential mortgage banking or analytics; strong Excel and basic programming familiarity are essential. Reports to the Head of US Residential Mortgages in New York.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1–3 years in residential mortgage banking or analytics.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical due diligence on residential whole-loan data files, validating features and attributes.
• Validate collateral data gaps and document exceptions; coordinate with credit managers and originators.
• Build, update, and stress-test cash-flow models for RMBS structures (Prime, Non-QM, CRT shelves).
• Ingest loan tapes and maintain monthly portfolio performance metrics for management.
