Job summary

Allied Universal in Davenport, IA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time - Mornings to safeguard clients across tech/media/telecom environments. In this unarmed role, you will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver courteous service to employees and visitors while following site procedures.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology and communications-focused location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access concerns or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation accurately and in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
