Job summary

Applitrack seeks a Kid Zone Special Education Paraprofessional at Oak Hills Elementary School. You will support ESS instructors and teachers, lead small groups, provide one-to-one follow-up, and keep students on-task.

The role involves implementing IEP adaptations, giving feedback to instructors, and collaborating with the special education team. Schedule is 7:00–9:30 am, 176 days per year, start date TBD.

Qualifications

• Training or experience working with children in a group tutorial and supervisory setting.
• Interpersonal skills for working with students and adults as determined by the principal.
• Possess basic academic competencies to provide tutorial assistance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a contributing member of the ESS and special education team.
• Support academic programs designed by ESS instructors, including leading small groups and providing one-to-one follow-up.
• Provide supports to enhance student success through IEP adaptations and accommodations.
• Provide feedback to ESS instructors about class activities, assignments, participation, and behavior.
