Job summary

Eurest is hiring immediately for a full-time Sous Chef at John Deere - East Moline, IL. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. Local candidates encouraged; online applications accepted. Cook and/or food service experience required.

As Sous Chef you will assist the Executive Chef, supervise kitchen staff, ensure recipes and production standards are met, maintain sanitation, and coordinate with service teams to deliver quality meals. Eurest provides benefits and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards.
• Supervises hourly food service associates including scheduling, payroll, training, and counseling as appropriate.
• Stores food in designated areas following all food safety procedures.
• Ensures proper food handling, presentation, and serving temperatures.
• Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils; keeps workstation clean.
