Job Title: Audacy Buffalo Morning Show Co‑Host WKSE

Department: Programming

Reporting To: Brand Manager

Employment Type: Full‑Time

Work Arrangement: Onsite

WKSE‑FM Audacy Buffalo is looking for the next great talent to join our on‑air team.

Responsibilities

• Create original content and perform live broadcasts that are entertaining and informative.
• Participate and create original content for all social media platforms; manage online personality presence.
• Protect the station’s FCC license.
• Monitor the music and commercial logs for the air shift.
• Ensure that promotions and contests are executed properly.
• Operate the control board and perform production work.
• Make personal appearances at station events and remote broadcasts.
• Other duties as required by management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5‑year on‑air experience, with Top 40 and/or Hot AC radio format experience preferred.
• Excellent and creative communicator with mastery of mass‑appeal pop‑culture content for a Generation X and Millennial audience.
• Knowledgeable fan of Top 40 and Hot AC music and ability to relate it to the audience.
• Collaborative and work closely with station management and peers, supporting collective on‑air shows and cross‑daypart content strategy.
• Solid audio production skills and strong working knowledge of production and studio equipment and software such as Adobe Audition, Wide Orbit, VoxPro.
• Adhere to all company policies and station, company, and FCC guidelines.
• Show prep, including format‑related content, pop‑culture content, local content; write and post web and social media content; write and deliver commercial or personal endorsement content.
• Host regular air shifts, plus other voice‑tracked shifts as assigned.
• Valid driver’s license, satisfactory motor‑vehicle record check, and, if required, proof of insurance for use of applicant’s own vehicle.

Salary and Benefits

Anticipated starting salary range for New York‑based individuals is $65,000.00/Yr.–$75,000.00/Yr. Salary will be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, location of the applicant, and internal and external equity.
