Job summary

Playa Bowls in New Jersey’s South Orange area is seeking a part-time Team Member to support daily restaurant operations. Responsibilities include taking customer orders, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring high-quality service during the 5:00 PM to 12:15 AM shift.

The role requires 18+ years old, 20+ hours weekly, ability to lift 25 pounds, and a smartphone for communications. Training on POS and food prep is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work at least 20 hours weekly.
• Must be able to lift over 25 pounds.
• Must be dependable, committed, communicative.
• Must have working Smart Phone.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant.
• Manage time effectively and meet all job responsibilities.
• Maintain a positive work environment for guests and staff.
• Check products to ensure consistency, palatability, and flavor conformity.
• Perform food preparation or service tasks.
• Use point of sale cash register system.
• Addressing any questions or comments that customers may have.
• Take customer orders and assemble the orders.
• Replenish supplies and condiments and maintain inventory.
• Notifying staff of any food orders or food shortages.

Job description

Team Members are the front liners in prepping fruit, making frozen fruit bases; smoothies; juices; smoothie bowls, take customer orders, and execute customer service. The job entails cleaning work stations, being able to multitask, and communicate with other members on shift.
