Job summary

Playa Bowls in Norfolk, VA is seeking team members to provide friendly customer service while preparing fruit-based offerings like smoothies, juices, and smoothie bowls. You will take orders, assemble items, and help keep the restaurant clean and organized during shifts.

This role offers flexible hours, employee discounts, a fun work environment, and growth opportunities. Base pay starts at $13 per hour plus cash and card tips, with typical part-time scheduling to fit school or other commitments.

Qualifications

• Must at least be over the age of 16.
• Ability to work at least 15+ hours weekly.
• Weekend availability is a MUST.
• Must be able to lift over 25 pounds.
• Must be dependable, committed, communicative.
• Must have working Smart Phone.
• Must have weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Take customer orders and assemble the orders.
• Replenish supplies and condiments and maintain inventory.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant.
• Manage time effectively and meet all job responsibilities.
• Maintain a positive work environment for guests and staff.
• Check products to ensure consistency, presentation, and flavor conformity.
• Perform food preparation or service tasks.
• Use point of sale cash register system.
• Addressing any questions or comments that customers may have.
• Communication with co-workers and manager.

Job description

Team Members are the front liners in providing positive customer service. The job entails: prepping fruit, making frozen fruit bases; smoothies; juices; smoothie bowls, taking customer orders, cleaning work stations, and executing effective customer service.
