Job summary

Valor is seeking a friendly Food & Beverage Team Member to ensure a memorable dining experience for guests in a Cincinnati location. You will greet customers, take orders, and serve meals while meeting service standards and maintaining cleanliness across dining and service areas.

Experience in food/beverage service and basic POS usage are preferred. A TIPs certification and willingness to learn menu items will help you succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Three - Six months experience in a food/beverage services environment or establishment.
• Must be TIPs certified.
• Must have manual coordination to punch buttons, grasp items in hand, and to balance and carry trays loaded with food and beverages.
• Able to read, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Greet and take orders from restaurant customers, serve orders and accommodate special requests.
• Maintain attentiveness to customers and uphold service standards.
• Restock and clean during opening/closing duties.
• Memorize menu items and daily specials to answer questions and make recommendations.
• Ensure cleanliness of restaurant, wait-station, and service areas.
