Job summary

State College Toftrees Golf Resort, part of Shaner Hotels, in State College, PA, seeks a friendly Food & Beverage attendant to join our on-site team. You will take orders, serve drinks and meals, collect payments, and help maintain a welcoming dining area in accordance with hotel and franchise standards.

The role requires a minimum year of experience in guest service, ability to communicate clearly with guests and staff, and a willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in a similar position dealing with the public.
• High school graduate or equivalent, some college preferred.
• ServSafe and/or food safety training; alcohol awareness training (TIPS).
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus; ability to communicate clearly with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders, retrieve, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and food orders to guest tables according to hotel specifications.
• Collect payments and assist in maintaining the restaurant area and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with daily operational procedures by the Food and Beverage Department.
• Communicate with General Manager, all other Department Managers, Supervisors and Staff.
