Job summary

Oakmont of Santa Clarita is seeking a Care Provider to assist residents with daily living activities and personal care. The role emphasizes maintaining residents' dignity, safety, and independence within a supportive team environment.

Shifts include AM 6:00am-2:00pm. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, paid time off, meals, life insurance, 401(k) with company match, and more. Requires compassionate service to seniors and ability to pass background checks and health screenings.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not required; on‑the‑job training provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Effective communication with staff, supervisors, physicians, residents and families.
• Must pass a criminal background check and health screening including TB tests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in activities of daily living as per care plans (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, continence).
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while maintaining dignity and safety.
• Report changes in residents' condition to a supervisor.
• Maintain a safe environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork with colleagues and other departments.
