Job summary

SSC Services for Education is hiring immediately for full-time janitor positions at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN. Location: 1642 MTSU Boulevard (Openings at other locations within the school district available).

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 am to 12:30 pm; full and part-time options with scheduling flexibility. The role requires 1 year of janitorial experience and offers a fixed pay rate of $16.00 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package and same-day pay.

Qualifications

• 1 year of janitorial experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures.
• Dusts and damp mops floors per procedures.
• Moves furniture for cleaning and replaces it correctly.
• Cleans areas with provided materials and sanitizes surfaces.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards for a clean environment.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs and refinishes floors; shampoos carpet.
• Follows federal, state and county guidelines.
• Exhibits professionalism with customers and teammates.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
