Job summary

The Marcus Corporation’s Omaha Marriott Downtown is seeking a Morning Restaurant Supervisor to lead a high-energy dining team, ensure service excellence, and uphold brand standards in a fast-paced hotel environment.

You will supervise front- and back-of-house operations, participate in ongoing training, and help manage inventory, payroll, and costs while maintaining guest satisfaction and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant, hospitality, or food and beverage supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with bartending and knowledge of dining operations.
• Strong English communication for guest requests and banquet orders.
• Excellent customer service with diplomacy in challenging situations.
• Ability to stand and move throughout shifts in restaurant and kitchen areas.
• Proficient knife skills and prep dexterity.
• Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; varied schedule including days/evenings/weekends/holidays.

• Utilize POS and restaurant systems for accurate transactions and reporting.
• Model professionalism and enforce hotel policies and standards.

What we are looking for:

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, or food and beverage supervisory experience preferred.
• Previous bartending experience and knowledge of food and beverage operations, including staffing, equipment, and guest relations.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English, to be able to handle guest requests and banquet event orders.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations with patience and diplomacy.
• Comfortable standing and moving throughout shifts in restaurant and kitchen areas.
• Proficient knife skills and ability to perform prep work with dexterity.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent requir ed and must be able to work a varied schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, holiday.
