The Barnett in New Orleans invites motivated servers to join a restored Art Deco hotel dining team. You will deliver warm, knowledgeable service across Brutto Americano and other venues, taking orders, delivering meals, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience with POS systems and cash handling is a plus.
• Strong customer service and clear communication required.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and temperature.
• Check back with guests regularly and anticipate needs.
• Process payments, handle cash, and balance receipts accurately.
• Maintain table cleanliness, reset tables, and support dining room organization.
• Communicate guest needs and concerns to management or kitchen staff as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines.
• Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
