Job summary

Scholastic is seeking flexible part-time help to assist in packing book fairs, loading displays, and replenishing inventory. The role requires basic scanner use, good communication, and a strong safety mindset.

You will work with a team to meet productivity and quality standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities include packing, inventory checks, and assisting with customer reorder picking while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• Ability to demonstrate basic product scanner proficiency with minimal errors.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow safety instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in production of book fairs by packing cases, displays and non-book products.
• Maintain neat, safe work areas and ensure outbound items are in good condition.
• Learn scanner functions and assist in picking and packing customer reorders.
• Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions or damaged equipment.
• Participate in physical inventory and seasonal resets as needed.
