Job summary

Scholastic Inc. in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Part-Time Seasonal Warehouse Associate for 1st shift, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with a $17.00 hourly rate.

You will help pack, stock, and prepare book fairs, operate basic scanners, and assist in inventory and order fulfillment while maintaining safety and efficiency.

This role offers consistent hours and a friendly team in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• ,
• Ability to demonstrate basic product scanner proficiency with minimal errors.
• Strong team player and ability to get along with co-workers.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, basic math, and ability to read English safety rules and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in packing book fairs, boxes, and displays according to process and quality standards.
• Demonstrate proficiency in packing all components for cases, boxes, and displays.
• Meet minimum production, accuracy, and quality standards.
• Ensure outbound cases, boxes, displays are clean, safe, and in good condition.
• Assist in processing returned book fairs and replenishment of Pick locations.
• Learn scanner proficiency for item inquiries and replenishment requests.
• Assist in picking and packing customer reorders.
• Maintain a neat, safe, and organized work area at all times.
