Job summary

Scholastic Corporation in North Carolina is seeking a Part-time Seasonal Warehouse Associate for 1st shift (7am–2pm). You will help pack and prepare book fairs, load displays, and ensure accurate, timely fulfillment.

You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work as part of a team, and maintain safety and quality standards. Prior scanner use and basic math are helpful. This seasonal role offers weekend flexibility. Experience with inventory and labeling is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate basic product scanner proficiency with minimal errors.
• Strong team player and the ability to get along with co-workers.
• Good verbal/written communication skills and basic math abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the production of book fairs by packing metal cases, boxes, and displays.
• Demonstrate proficiency in packing components for all cases, boxes, and displays.
• Meet minimum production, accuracy, or quality standards.
• Ensure outbound cases and displays are clean, safe, and in good condition.
• Assist in processing returned book fairs by unpacking and repacking as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure proper packing of book fairs.
• Learn scanner proficiency for replenishment and item inquiries.
• Assist in picking and packing customer reorders.
• Maintain a neat, safe, and organized work area.
• Participate in seasonal inventory resets and packing improvements.
