WILX-WSYM, the leading Lansing news station, is seeking a dynamic Morning News Executive Producer/Anchor to lead our morning broadcasts across broadcast and streaming platforms. Qualifications

• At least two years of professional television news anchoring and reporting experience.
• Proven ability to manage, motivate, and collaborate with a diverse team under tight deadlines.
• Strong news judgment and writing skills for on-air and digital platforms.
• Experience with newsroom systems (ENPS) and non-linear editing (EDIUS).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the morning news team — anchors, reporters, producers, photographers.
• Oversee daily editorial direction and shape content for morning broadcasts.
• Coach and mentor newsroom staff; provide constructive feedback.
• Anchor morning newscasts with energy, authority, and credibility.
• Pitch, research, write, and produce compelling local news stories.
• Deliver live reports from the field and studio during breaking news and weather.
