Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor to perform cleaning and preservation of assigned areas inside buildings or multiple client sites. The role is part of full-time and part-time janitorial work with a 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM shift and a starting wage of $16.00 per hour, with weekly pay.

Responsibilities include floor cleaning, restroom maintenance, trash disposal, window cleaning, carpet care, and following client specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 6 months in janitorial work.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Use chemical cleaners and power equipment safely to protect floors and objects.
• Clean, monitor, and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrances.
• Empty trash cans; use of compactor for certain materials.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners and equipment.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
