Chattahoochee Technical College seeks an Adjunct Instructor for the Intensive English Program at the Marietta Campus. Teach mornings, 8:30am–2:15pm (Mon/Wed) and 8:30am–12:15pm (Tue/Thu) for non-credit courses, under the program's Associate Director.

Evaluate progress and maintain required reports for attendance and advancement. Position is adjunct/part-time for term-length appointments; Fall 2026 anticipated start date.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university in the area of education.
• One year experience as an ESL instructor teaching adults.
• TESOL certificate preferable.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Skills in using Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and online educational programs.

Responsibilities

• Performs all aspects of instruction for the non-credit Intensive English Program under the supervision of the Associate Director of the program.
• Evaluates student progress in attaining goals and objectives.
• Prepares and maintains all required documentation and administrative reports for CTC pertaining to student attendance, progress, and recommendation for next level of study.
• Classes taught are in the mornings from 8:30am until 2:15pm Mondays and Wednesdays and from 8:30am until 12:15pm Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Education

Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university in the area of education

TESOL certificate preferable

Excellent written and oral communication skills
