Canteen is hiring a full-time COOK at Corteva Ceres Cafe in Johnston, IA 50131. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. No evenings or weekends. Prior catering, open-line cooking, and baking experience are preferred; ServSafe certification is a plus. Perks include PTO, holidays, benefits, shift meal, and free parking.

In this role you will prepare food per recipes, ensure safety and quality, and support kitchen operations with attention to portion control and presentation.

Qualifications

• Previous catering, open line work, and baking experience preferred.
• ServSafe certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality items according to recipes and schedules.
• Ensures correct portioning and maintains food at proper temperatures.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety in the kitchen.
• Assists with ordering and receiving of food and supplies as required.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment per instructions.
• Upholds HACCP standards and company policies.
